This summer, Pennsylvania invited New Yorkers to get away. Colossal Studios sourced two local artists, Christine Rai and Toby Triumph, to illustrate a Pennsylvania daydream that we would put to paint.
Both artists brought their unique styles to the assignment, combining cheeky humor with vibrant compositions for a final result that had everyone checking train schedules.
TOBY TRIUMPH
Hello! I’m Toby Triumph an illustrator from North Yorkshire, England currently based in London. I create detailed hand-drawn pieces with an irreverent edge, that incorporate characters, typography and playful phrases. My work has been applied across product packaging, advertising, clothing, installations and large-scale murals.
CHRISTINE RAI
Hi! I’m Christine Rai and I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, New York. I work in digital illustration, woodworking, fiber arts, mixed media collage, and painting across mediums. Authentically representing people is a main tenet of the art I create. Some of my guiding motivations include cultivating and spreading joy, along with increasing people’s access to art, creativity, and cross-cultural dialogues.
