For the release of his new album, Bruno Mars and his team planned a promotional campaign that was really Romantic. Inspired by the interactive quality of love lock bridges, we installed a chain link fence in front of the mural and invited locals to add their own locks. New locks dedicated to friends, lovers, and fans filled the wall over the course of the month. We anchored the New York sensation with a second mural in LA, and watched the fanbase grow.
Organic sharing, as well as key posts from @secret_nyc and @merch_vaultspread the word to millions of online viewers. The social amplification boosted campaign impressions by 135%, with +1.1M views (and counting) across Instagram and TikTok.
